This presentation will look at different phenomena that can be used in high school science classes to align with the Next Generation Science Standards. We will look at different demonstrations and resources to explain the phenomena and how they can be used according to the new standards.

Over the years I have taught multiple science classes at Anna Jonesboro Community High School. Currently I teach Advanced Biology I, Advanced Chemistry, Biology II, and Physics.
I currently teach Chemistry at RCHS in Olney, IL. I have previously taught Biology and Integrated Science at the high school level, as well as college-level Chemistry and Anatomy/Physiology.
